Why on earth would our Federal Government body behave so irrational. 95% of Second Class (Upper Division) graduates, comprises of those who graduated from private Universities & those from government Universities who bought their way through in order to attain a very brilliant and enviable height. In essence, government and other private organisations should not be using the so-called “first or second class (upper division) honours as a yardstick for measuring intelligence in graduates. As an undergraduate student back then in the University, I organised tutorial classes for various courses in Sociology and Psychology. But I graduated with a (2.2). Some of these students I thought then, graduated with a (21). Including those who could not come face-to-face with people. Then, I realised that there was a loophole somewhere. I meant, there has to be a closed, I mean, a very closed relationship between you and a politically inclined Lecturer if you “MUST” graduate with a (2.1.). You “MUST” bribe your way through wether you like it or not. Graduating with a (2.1) is not a problem for some undergraduates who have this student-Lecturer relationship. So, my Nigeria government, private organisations, unbehalf of other Nigerians who might have been “Victims” of a (2.2) like my self, I am pleading with you to put an end to this issue of a (first or second class [up division]) thing. If not for God Almighty, in whose Bosom am in, lives would have been lost for this (2.1) denial. I thank God everyday that no Lecturer can point his/her fingers at me to say “I made him a (2.2) graduate”. My happiness now is that, I did it my self. I am so proud of me today. I thank God. He’s great!
